Hey Gorgeous Gaudy Girls!

Recently I was nyemadifying someone's hair and the beginning process included me perming the front. Now, you know how you're not supposed to scratch your scalp before you get a perm? Well, this person had ignored that rule and so the relaxer was burning after the first 2 minutes of me putting it in. As my client complained about the burning, I said a profound statement - "THERE IS BEAUTY FROM THE PAIN."

Now although this a physical example of beauty, consider it's application to beauty in terms of it's origin within a woman. Kahlil Gibran said "Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart." How does it originate from the heart? Have you ever seen a woman who was absolutely gorgeous but after you talked to her about her story, you realized that her life wasn't an easy ride? Her beauty doesn't totally come from her apppearance but from her positive outlook and belief that she is a gorgeous princess by design, and by having faith in this principle daily. This then causes a light of beauty to shine from within, adding to her physical beauty.

Fall is quickly approaching: the changing of leaves, the slight temperature drop, and the end of sun dress season. Do you want to be just as colorful in the winter as you are in the spring? Even if that is not your goal, are you tired of the constant black and grey? Or do you just want to be fashionable? No matter what your goal is for the fall (that is pertaining to your clothing), remember to be as gorgeous as you have been created to be.

Look at the fall leaves, or pictures of them...are thay drab? boring? No! They are beautiful, colorful, simple yet breathtaking, and exciting!! Hey fans!!

The Gorgeous Gaudy Girlfriends Gathering was a huge success!! It truly was an exclusive shopping event. There was approximately 15 guests and each received a $10 coupon to go towards their total purchase, which most of them used to purchase products from Nyemadi's fashion line.

Another side of this event that was beautiful was the fellowship and conversation that generally centered around the theme of the gathering - "Beauty and Wellness." Many people were interested in the produtcs offered by Nutrilite after their shopping experience in Nyemadi's private showroom....also known as the Candy Shop since it is where all the goodies can be found.

One new thing, that will soon be in photos, was the introduction of the "Chameleon" by Nyemadi Williams. It's a simple top that can be used many different ways and can be used during all seasons. It's honestly the must-have fashion piece of the year!! Stay tuned for more updates!!

Greetings Gorgeous Gaudy Girls!

Fall is on its way! Now, we all like shoes. We wear them everywhere: outside and inside. However, when it comes to fall, some people have difficulty in creating variety and still being stylish. I mean do you just want to wear boots all fall and into the winter? I don't. I love heels and flats! Yet what about the cold mornings and nights? I most defintely don't want to freeze and I know you don't either.

Here's what I advise:
(1)HEELS: Try to buy closed toe heels in funky and bright colors to add a splash of color to netural outfits. It may not be summer but that does not mean that one has to blend in with the gloomy weather.

(2)STOCKINGS: If you have open toe heels and want to save money, purchase some colored or patterned stockings and wear them like leggings. With these, you can also make an outfit gaudy and outstanding, and you won't be cold!

(3)FLATS & BOOTS: With flats and boots, follow the same idea of bright colors to intensify your outfit, or if bright colors is not the way you would like to go...buy or wear neutral colors like: grey, brown, tan, balck and/or navy blue. These neutral colors you can wear with any outfit and it opens the door for you to wear colorful clothing, while still looking classy and refined.

Models Wanted

Looking for models for an upcoming fashion show. Three designers have come together to showcase their fashions on Saturday afternoon July 18th. Each designer has a different style so all model types welcome, you must have a fierce runway walk! You may be chosen to shoot with a local fashion photographer in the designers clothes prior to the show, all images will be given from the studio shoot. Photos will be taken at the show as well and images can be given to you upon request.

Please respond with an image of yourself, no bikinis or nudity please. Also include your measurements as well as your height and shoe size.

If we think you are what we are looking for we will invite you to a casting on Sunday June 28th at 6pm.

I've come to spread some good news... You're Gorgeous by Design. Do you understand what that really means? It means that you were an inspiration before you were conceived in your mothers womb and were delivered on the earth. Everything about you, even the things that you think are unflattering or insignificant are right were they are suppose to be. You are an original masterpiece of the greatest and most famous designer. He designed you purposefully and perfectly. You are not average or ordinary. From the top of your head, to the soles of your feet, you are absolutely fabulous. You are your designer's greatest and most prized masterpiece.
Allow this moment the change your thoughts about the way you feel about you; a one of a kind, unique, and priceless work of art. When you were just a sketch on the imagination of the creator mind, he place all of your intricate parts exactly where he wanted them to be. Your hair, skin color, personality, and smile are designed exactly how they are suppose to be. So, stop talking about all the thing about you that you believe or that you have heard others say about you is a mistake. Imagine a beautiful couture grown from Versace or Gucci saying to it's designer, "I don't admire or value the color or shape you created for me." What do you think the designer would say to his beautiful creation that he put so much time, effort, and love into. I imagine he would reply, "Shut up!" You were just a piece of fabric that I transformed into my one of a kind, most prized possession." I know If one of my designs had the nerve to criticize the way I created it, I would first of all be very hurt and think, " what an ungrateful piece of fabric you are." Than, simply shred in into tiny pieces a toss it in the trash. Aren't you glad God is not like man. No matter how much we criticize his most prize possession, He loves us more. We constantly compare ourselves with other and don't the fact that we are gorgeous by design. When the creator designed you, he stepped back and said, "this is Good." He breath life into you. You were designed in his image and likeness. Stop thinking negative thoughts about yourself. When you criticize yourself, you criticize the greatest and most talented designer. To Weave or Not to weave or not to weave, that is the question. And I have the answer. WEAVE! There was a time in life when I would pray and ask God to let my hair grow long, flowing, and healthy hair down my back. I was very faithful and spiritual about my prayer for long flowing hair. One day while looking in the mirror and praying for long down my back, the Lord said to me, “girl you better go and get you a hair weave!” He said to me; “I invented weaves for girls just like you.” This was a Hallelujah moment for me. God made weaves. Everything that comes from God is good. Weave are of God. Weaves are good. I instantly renewed my mind and thinking about hair weaves. Think about this for a moment, we use all kinds of accessories, tools, and tricks to enhance and perfect our image. Example; we’re not born with red nail, so we use red nail polish. Some of us are not predispose to grow blonde hair, so we dye our hair blonde. We’re not born with holes in our ears, so we pierce them. You can’t grow long healthy nails so you get acrylic nails.All of these enhancements are absolutely fabulous and I believe were all inspiration given to the inventor by God to help transform ordinary women to extraordinary women. Ladies, let this also be a hallelujah moment for you. If you’re not genetically predispose to grow long hair or you simply just need a change or to be renewed, get a marvelous and captivating hair weave. Weave can be a quick and inexpensive way to dramatically enhance your appearance. I’m inviting you to indulge in it. Now girl, do not go out and get something that is too outlandish. We’re gorgeous gaudy girls, not crazy tacky girls. Girls, please attempt only hair extensions that are humanly possible for you to grow. When choosing your weave, consider textures well as color. Stay away for the primary colors or any that is in the rainbow. Don’t use silky straight hair your roots or hair line looks like a fuzzy tennis ball. Wearing rainbow color hair or mismatch roots is not classy. Instead, it’s rather tacky. Gorgeous gaudy girls are never tacky. To weave or not to weave is an issue to all women, not only women of color. This is 2008; hair weave is just another accessory. Some of our most beautiful style icons wear hair weaves I warn you, weave are very addictive. It’s very hard to go back to your natural hair once you’ve seen yourself with a fabulous weave. I have since changed my prayer about long hair down my back. I now pray and ask God to give me wisdom and understanding in finding the best weave that enhances and complements me.
